Our Kindergarten Teachers

On August 13 of 1786 Thomas Jefferson wrote this to George Wythe:

‘I  think by far the most important bill in our whole code is that for the diffusion of knowledge among the people. No other sure foundation can be devised, for the preservation of freedom and happiness. . . Preach, my dear Sir, a crusade against ignorance; establish & improve the law for educating the common people. Let our countrymen know that the people alone can protect us against these evils (tyranny, oppression, etc.) and that the tax which will be paid for this purpose is not more than the thousandth part of what will be paid to kings, priests and nobles who will rise up among us if we leave the people in ignorance.’

This is exactly what you have done. You have laid the foundation of Happiness and Freedom for my daughter and so many other kids before and for that I am endlessly thankful to the both of you.

I am so grateful for the work you guys do each and every day. Every morning my daughter work up excited to go to school and always striving to do better. Not one day went by where had to worry about my child because I knew that you guys had it handled. The thing I am most thankful for is that you guys are like family and I really appreciate the love you shared with [my daughter] each and every day.

You guys are absolutely incredible beings-thank you for all that you did for my daughter and all you will accomplish going forward.

International Parent Success

It was just so great to experience your school this summer.
My son loved the classes and teachers, and his friends.
He said that he could stay for another 3 years !!!

He became more open, more cheerful, and healthier.
As a mother, and as a educator, I can say that your school is one
of the best schools in the world!!!

We need to make one in Japan, too!

We’ll come back soon.

The Most Amazing School

Clearwater Academy is the most amazing school I have ever seen. Kids are the happiest I have seen at a school. The teachers are the nicest. The executives are the nicest, yet effective that I have ever seen.

A true island of sanity. I am so proud my son is a student here.

2012 Graduate

Our wonderful son, Markus, graduated from Clearwater Academy International last week. The ceremony was like something from Broadway and the kids, all of them, were happy and uptone and ready for life. An incredible school with a great faculty and student body and a fantastic football team.

Thanks also to all the moms who were there for him when I could not be. He will go the the University of Alabama a kid at cause over life because of his experiences at CAI.

International Student

I am a Mexican mom, my daughter went to Clearwater Academy International only for a month. When we arrived she was more than terrified as she had never been in a different country, she had never been in a different school and even worst she has never been in an English-speaking school. She didn’t speak English.

Just by the end of the first day, she wasn’t terrified anymore and the next day she was interested to go, but by the third day, she was all excited to go and it just kept being better and better.

The first week she was already saying things in English but even better than that she was so interested in learning more. Her confidence increased incredibly in the very friendly environment of the school. Every day she looked more secure not only of the knowledge of English she was getting but also she looked more confident of herself.

It has been a year since she went to enjoy her summer at Clearwater Academy and she keeps asking me when is she going to go back, she keeps speaking about her wonderful teacher and she keeps having her t-shirt of the school las one of her greatest treasures.

The staff are so uptone and granted so much beingness to the children that it really creates a safe environment for children to obtain knowledge.

Thanks very much.

CAI is better than home school

“At any other school I might have taken my daughter out and kept her at home a few years longer, as I had done with her two older brothers. After all, there is no real educational purpose in keeping a three year old in school. It’s just daycare, right? WRONG! After observing the classroom for a few short days I could see that she was going to be able to excel educationally, and at her own pace. I was thrilled with the fact that even the preschool students were expected to make targets. Soon I could see her excelling at a rapid pace – her confidence growing. I was stunned at how much she was able to accomplish at three years of age! Had I kept her at home I never would have known how capable she is, and how excited she is to be learning.”

“She is so proud of herself, and I am thrilled with her accomplishments. I KNOW that this growth would not have occurred under conditions that were not ideal. My deepest appreciation and admiration go to her teachers. I have a confident, happy little girl who loves learning. She has had the best introduction to school that I could have ever hoped for. Thank you for this.”

Sucess Story from a Parent

“Since bringing my daughter to CAI she has grown and changed in many ways. When she first started coming to the school she wouldn’t get out of the car. I was worried about how she was going to make it. Without the caring of the staff she and I would have stayed in this condition. But together we worked out a solution.

It took a couple of months but she has completely changed. She is eager to go to school now. She skips from the car onto the play ground. This is great, but the real change I am talking about is at home after school. This weekend she described her homework of caring for her environment.

She was totally enthusiastic about this assignment. When describing it to a dinner guest she perfectly defined environment. I asked her how she got such a good definition. She said, “Gail” [K-2 teacher]. ”

“What blew me away was what I saw tonight. At night [my kids] end up reading to themselves, if able to, if not they look at books. [My daughter] was at the looking stage last weekend. Tonight I went into her room she was reading “Green Eggs and Ham” to herself. Literally, reading to herself. I couldn’t believe it. Again I asked where she learned to read so good she said , “Gail.”

“I am sure that story is thank you enough for all the patience, and care you have given [my daughter]. It is such a beautiful thing to have her as a contributing member of our family. Thank you again.”
